 rag Gastdozentur)\n\nHé! is a young Brussels\, bilingual architecture
  firm that prefers sustainable and honest architecture\, using as many
  CO2 neutral materials and circular building systems as possible. It r
 enovates rather than builds\, reduces rather than expands. It will opt
 imize existing spaces and improve the quality of life so that no new c
 onstruction is needed. It will show that building with regenerative ma
 terials (materials that have a longer life cycle: bio- based\, geo-bas
 ed or 2nd\, 3rd\, 4th.... hands materials) &amp\; back-to-basic materi
 als has its place not only in the countryside but also in an urban con
 text. \n\nWhen embarking on a renovation project\, it invariably start
 s with an inventory of the qualities of the existing building: not onl
 y the valuable materials but also the existing structures\, natural li
 ght\, internal organization is critically examined. Flexibility\, func
 tional reversibility and disassembly are features of circular building
  that we systematically implement. \n\nArchitecture Winter Talks 2023:
  STADT LAND SCHAFT\n\nSowohl Klima- als auch Strukturwandel stellen un
 sere Städte vor Herausforderungen. Umfassende Transformationsprozesse
  stehen bevor. Um Städte trotz Klimakrise als lebenswerte Orte zu erh
 alten\, bedarf es Entwurfs- und Planungsstrategien\, die den urbanen R
 aum robuster\, resilienter und klimaadaptiver machen. Welche Rolle spi
 elen Material- und Stoffkreisläufe hierbei und wie greifen Städtebau
