 icki\, Atelier Starzak Strebicki\, Poznan\n\n07.12.2023 "11 Years Late
 r" (Antrittsvortrag Gastdozentur)\n\nAfter many years of working for a
 rchitectural studios in Belgium and the Netherlands\, Jola Starzak and
  Dawid Strebicki established the studio Atelier Starzak Strebicki in 2
 012. The studio works on furniture design\, interiors\, architectural 
 and urban design projects and researches in Belgium\, the Netherlands\
 , Poland and Germany. What intrigues Starzak Strebicki about design pr
 ocesses is the diverse scale of work: from furniture\, through houses 
 and interior design up to the public buildings and city planning scale
 . They are also fond of temporary architecture and experiments in urba
 n fabric\, such as the projects for the temporary public space on Plac
  Wolności in Poznan\, the International Theatre Festival Malta or the
  mobile urban furniture dedicated to the courtyard space of Poznań Ci
 ty Hall. In 2016 the studio\, together with Laura Muyldermans\, got in
 vited to participate in the 15th International Architecture Biennale i
 n Venice.\n\nArchitecture Winter Talks 2023: STADT LAND SCHAFT\n\nSowo
 hl Klima- als auch Strukturwandel stellen unsere Städte vor Herausfor
 derungen. Umfassende Transformationsprozesse stehen bevor. Um Städte 
 trotz Klimakrise als lebenswerte Orte zu erhalten\, bedarf es Entwurfs
 - und Planungsstrategien\, die den urbanen Raum robuster\, resilienter
  und klimaadaptiver machen. Welche Rolle spielen Material- und Stoffkr
 eisläufe hierbei und wie greifen Städtebau\, Architektur und Freirau
 mplanung dabei ineinander?\n\nBoth climate and structural change pose 
 challenges for our cities. Comprehensive transformation processes are 
 imminent. In order to preserve our cities as livable places despite th
 e climate crisis\, design and planning strategies are needed that make
