The Velbert/Heiligenhaus Campus (CVH) of Bochum University of Applied Sciences was founded in 2009. The background to this was the desire of regional companies to establish early contact with highly qualified young professionals. The campus now cooperates with numerous local companies in the context of a range of dual study programmes. This enables future-oriented and practical studies in the field of IT or engineering. The CVH has space for 400 students, who study both dual and full-time on campus.

Since 2017, the campus has been located in a bright, modern building on Kettwiger Straße, not far from the centre of Heiligenhaus. The personal atmosphere facilitates easy contact between students, Professors and staff. In the practical degree programme, many things can be tried out and practised directly – supported by excellent teaching facilities. The location is also active in research and offers interested students the opportunity to pursue a doctorate, PhD.

Right next to the campus is a modern hall of residence with an attached daycare centre. Students benefit from affordable accommodation here.
