Modern, internationally orientated and surrounded by greenery - that's Bochum University of Applied Sciences. We have over 8,000 students studying at two different locations: the main campus in Bochum and the external campus in Heiligenhaus (CVH).
Our six faculties attach great importance to personal support during your studies and a strong practical orientation: exercise sessions and internships are part of every degree programme. There are also numerous student working groups, such as the "Sustainable Mobility" and "Cargo Pedelec" teams or the "Bobby E-Scooter" team. Several professors at Bochum University of Applied Sciences are members of the NRW doctoral programme. This means that you can also obtain a doctorate with us after completing a Master's degree. The campus in Bochum is right next to the Ruhr University (RUB). All RUB student programmes are open to our students: From university sports to the cultural café to the halls of residence. The campus is about 15 minutes by car or tram from Bochum city centre. The location in Heiligenhaus is directly adjacent to the city centre. Düsseldorf, Essen and Wuppertal are each only about 20 minutes away by car.
