The Department's programmes are based on the recommendations of the 'Fachbereichstage' of Mechatronics and Mechanical Engineering. Each 'Fachbereichstag' represents the interests of the departments, faculties and engineering degree programmes in mechatronics and mechanical engineering throughout Germany. In its basic form, the Department offers Bachelor's programmes in seven semesters and Master's programmes in three semesters. Other forms of study are also possible, e.g. in combination with an apprenticeship, with other departments or parallel to a career.

Additional and key qualifications as well as projects are an integral part of the programmes. In addition, semesters abroad or internships can be easily integrated into your own study plan, so that you have the opportunity to gain in-depth knowledge of a specific subject area. This gives you a high level of professional qualification in our Mechatronics and Mechanical Engineering degree programmes.
