International Consortia

The Department of Mechatronics and Mechanical Engineering at Bochum University of Applied Sciences is involved in the following international consortia. What makes these collaborations special is that our students can obtain a double degree during a semester abroad.

TheDHIKis made up of universities from partner countries, including China, Mexico and Germany. It offers the opportunity to study abroad and obtain a double degree in Bachelor's programmes. The study visit lasts one year and includes a semester of study at a Chinese or Mexican partner university and an internship semester.

The IGCHEis a collaboration between nine German universities and three Indian partner institutions. Students on our Bachelor's programmes in Mechanical Engineering and Mechatronics can spend one or two semesters studying abroad at one of our partner institutions in India.
