The Scientific Institute for Digital Transformation and eLearning (DigiTeach Institute) supports teachers in optimising existing teaching and learning programmes, creating new teaching programmes with the help of digital media, and conducts research, testing and implementation of innovative digital teaching concepts and (learning-related) technologies.

The DigiTeach Institute offers training and consulting for university lecturers, support in the use of digital technologies in mathematics (STACK), media production and digital examinations.
Another major area of focus is support for the use of generative artificial intelligence and other AI tools in teaching. The DigiTeach Institute regularly offers AI workshops for teachers on this topic.
The DigiTeach Institute also conducts research on various topics related to digital teaching and learning transformations.
