Kick Off Green IT Impact

On 31 October 2025, the kick-off event for the Green IT Impact (GITI) project took place at project partner andagon people GmbH. This set the course for successful collaboration focusing on resource-efficient software development for sustainable IT solutions in the coming years.

In addition to getting to know all project participants in detail, the event focused in particular on project goals, milestones and the joint work plan for the project duration. With andagon people GmbH, an established German company in the field of software quality assurance, and the Sustainable Technologies Laboratory at Bochum University of Applied Sciences, which focuses on the sustainability assessment of existing and future technological solutions, two exciting partners are coming together in this project. This promises a successful and productive collaboration to achieve the project goal of developing an innovative service and business model that contributes to the development of reliable life cycle assessments of software products within the framework of quality assurance in software development processes.
