Launch of the “Hydrogen Trainer Excellence” Webinar Series

On January 30, we launched a new webinar series as part of our research work in the Erasmus+ project “H2VE - Hydrogen Valley Vocational Excellence Hub.” The focus of this series is on the fundamentals of developing high-quality training materials for different target groups in the hydrogen sector.

The “Hydrogen Trainer Excellence” webinar series is based on a guide to creating trainer curricula, which provides structured recommendations and practical insights for creating effective educational content, especially for the hydrogen sector. This guide is one of the project's outcomes and will be published on the project website in the near future.

The aim of the webinar series is to present key concepts, methods, and insights from the guide in an interactive format every three weeks in a session lasting an hour and a half. Rather than simply presenting the material, the webinars create a space for exchange and discussion with participants from academia, vocational training, research, and practice.

Each session highlights specific aspects of training material development, such as curriculum design, learning objectives, pedagogical approaches, and practical implementation strategies. Participants are invited to share their experiences, perspectives, and challenges, fostering a collaborative learning environment that extends beyond the project consortium.

By making this discussion accessible to a wider audience, we aim to contribute to an ongoing dialogue on improving the quality of education and support educators, trainers, and institutions in developing effective and impactful learning resources.

The slides from the first webinar on “Teaching Diverse Learners in Hydrogen Training” can be viewed here.

The following dates and topics have been set for the remaining webinars in the series:

  • February 20: Designing Modular Curricula & Assessments
  • March 13: Active Learning & Soft Skills Integration
  • April 10: Digital Tools & Blended Hydrogen Training
  • April 24: Regional Adaptation & Continuous Improvement

We look forward to continuing this exchange and welcoming participants from different backgrounds to future sessions. If you are interested, you can participate in the webinar series via this link starting at 9 a.m. on dates lsited above.
