The week before the semester starts, we traditionally have our Welcome Week for new exchange students.

The Welcome Week for the Winter Semester 2024/25 will take place from September 16 – 20, 2024. As the participation in the Welcome Week is important for a successful stay, attendance is compulsory during these days. So please make sure that you arrive before the start of these days.

During these days, you will get to know your contact persons at the International Office and the department, get your first orientation on campus and, of course, get to know the other exchange students. We will also support you with some organizational and official matters and provide you with lots of important information for a successful stay. There will also be plenty of fun, so in addition to the traditional city tour of Bochum, there is another city trip waiting for you.
