BO Smart Factory
The BO Smart Factory is a cross-departmental, interdisciplinary institute that contributes to the integration and further development of application-oriented teaching, research and further education in the field of digitalisation of production processes.
The focus is particularly on the following topics:
- Automation Technology,
- Integration and networking in production technology,
- Product Lifecycle Management (PLM),
- Human-Machine Interaction
- Understanding, use, development and adaptation of data processing and information technology including machine learning methods,
- Predictive Maintenance.
