2nd MoDeCa Workshop: Design the Digital Mobility Platform!

How can a digital platform support sustainable mobility in everyday university life?

The Mobility Decarbonization Campus (MoDeCa) project, funded by the Federal Ministry for Transport, aims to develop, implement, and scientifically evaluate an integrated and sustainable mobility concept for Bochum University of Applied Sciences (Hochschule Bochum). In addition to rental e-bikes and cargo e-bikes as well as a sustainable charging infrastructure, the project includes the development of a digital web platform.

This digital mobility platform will be the central focus of the MoDeCa workshop on December 1, 2026. Together with you, we would like to discuss requirements and explore what is important for intuitive use in daily university life.

The core question of the second workshop is: What requirements and wishes of employees and students should be taken into account when developing the mobility web platform for Bochum University of Applied Sciences?

The participants' perspectives will help us tailor the platform as closely as possible to user needs. Employees and students of Bochum University of Applied Sciences are warmly welcome to attend. Neither prior knowledge nor participation in the first MoDeCa workshop is required.

We look forward to your ideas!
