MoDeCa Workshop: Contribute to the Future of Sustainable Mobility at Bochum University of Applied Sciences

How can travel to the university and between the Central and Health Campuses be made more sustainable? This is the focus of the Mobility Decarbonization Campus (MoDeCa) research project, funded by the Federal Ministry of Transport.

The project plans to provide e-bikes and e-cargo bikes for use by members of the Bochum University of Applied Sciences, as well as solar-powered charging infrastructure. In addition, the project is preparing to analyse and develop an appropriate infrastructure connection between the university’s campuses, with a particular focus on cycling and pedestrian routes. A digital web platform, including a vehicle booking system, is also planned.

Take part in our first workshop

In our first workshop, we would like to explore the following questions together with you:

  • Which types of vehicles would you use in your everyday life at the university?
  • What should the charging infrastructure look like?
  • What would make the service attractive and practical for you?

Why take part?

The workshop gives you the opportunity to contribute to the development of sustainable mobility at Bochum University of Applied Sciences, share your experiences and perspectives, and develop concrete ideas together with other members of the university community.
