The ICT Infrastructure and Services Working Group addresses all topics related to data centers, the cloud, networks, and communication systems. In addition to technical issues, the team also examines organizational, operational, and business aspects of these areas, thereby underscoring its interdisciplinary approach. This spectrum is complemented by the focus areas of digitalization, IT security/data protection, and the Internet of Things.

IT security, IT resilience, and digital sovereignty are becoming increasingly important. Companies are facing a wide range of challenges—from cyberattacks and system failures to dependence on international cloud and software providers.
