David Van Severen: Scale and Perspective
OFFICE is a Brussels-based architectural practice founded in 2002 by Kersten Geers and David Van Severen,
established as a means of exploring architecture in relation to contemporary culture and the urban environment.
The projects, differing in scale and type, are at once pragmatic and innovative, deeply rooted in diverse
architectural histories, while creating a framework within which life unfolds in all its complexity. Its international
practice, recognised through awards including the Silver Lion and Aga Khan Award for Architecture, continues
alongside its research, publications and teaching.
