Musculoskeletal Health Research Group
The research group for Musculoskeletal Health at the Hochschule für Gesundheit in Bochum, Germany is led by Prof. Dr. Daniel L Belavy. The focus of this internationally networked research group is on improving population health through the management of musculoskeletal disorders. The group has a special interest in spinal pain and welcomes collaborative opportunities with national and international researchers, industry partners, government partners, post-doctoral fellows and research students interested in the management and prevention of musculoskeletal conditions.
The group tackles key and challenging research topics to make a difference to patients, society and the field, publishes regularly in the top journals in the field, offers world-class methodological expertise, is networked internationally, offering many pathways for team members in their career, and offers a supportive, challenging and motivated environment with the base philosophy that "you will achieve more if you aim exceptionally high and fail to meet your mark, than if you aim low and achieve this goal".
